My brother came over and we did a fun cake smash for his 1 year old son. It was fun to see him get into eating his cake. He just picked at it and savored it for almost an hour. He got super dirty {He might have had a little help from mom} and loved putting cake on his head.

She is an amazing runner and ran a half marathon a few weeks ago. She is amazing! I can barely run 3 miles and I’m not pregnant.
A lot of the time I do maternity photos outside, it was so fun to be in a home with great lighting. It was comfortable for her and so much fun. Thanks Heather!
I love love these photos. This girl is so gorgeous and super photogenic.
I am in love with all these cute newborn crowns and bonnets but can not justify the steep price of $25-40. I asked my awesome mother in law if she would help me make some bonnets and she had some fabric lying around. I told her what I wanted and she made it even better!! She is super talented! So the bonnet below was free {but probably would have been like $2 for the material. I bought a bunch of material to make more so stay tuned! It ended up being a little bit bigger and fit perfect on this 2 month old… but she didn’t quite fit in my little basket anymore! Her leg kept popping out {Which I actually love!}
I keep seeing these cute crowns everywhere and at $25 a piece I thought no way I’m I going to pay that. So I decided to do some research and found this blog Tatortots and Jello and learned how to make them myself. I went to Joannes and got a product called Stiffy. I actually had to dip mine 3 times before it would finally harden. And I figured out that the lace with bigger holes is easier because the glue will get stuck in the holes if you don’t brush them out. I made a bunch of them and it cost me only $15 for about 8 of them. Pretty cool!!
Such a fun family. The Dad and grandpa of all these wonderful people was turning 60. So the whole family flew in to celebrate. Such a sweet couple. I just loved the Dad’s contagious smile. It was actually pretty cold so we did a few inside to get warm. The Mom wanted simple shots of all the kids to go on her wall.
